Votive candles keep their classic short, rounded shape and give off a warm, golden glow. Ours are made from 100% pure beeswax with a cotton wick — no paraffin, no soy blends, no synthetic fragrance. Because beeswax burns hotter and cleaner than other waxes, these last up to twice as long as a comparable soy or paraffin votive: roughly 10 hours per candle.
Refills vs. in Glass — Pick the Right One
This is the part that trips people up, so we're putting it up front: a votive candle needs a holder to burn safely. The melted wax pools as it burns, and an unheld votive will make a mess or become a fire hazard.
- Votive in Glass: comes in its own glass holder. Ready to light, no extra purchase needed.
- Votive Refills: bare wax candles only, no holder included. Buy this option only if you already own votive cups or holders from a previous purchase.
If you're not sure which you have at home, "in Glass" is the safer default.
